If Jesus Is Gone, Where Are We?

The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. Matthew 10:7 For it is not the hearers of the Word who speak, but the Spirit of God; for no one hears unless the Spirit speaks. Matthew 12:13 But whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me, and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. Matthew 20:15 If you forgive man his sins, your grace will also forgive his sin. But if you do not forgive man his sins, neither will your Father forgive your sins. Matthew 26:41 And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man whose clothes were black. And he spoke to him, saying, Are you the Son of David? And he said, Nay, but I am also the prophet of David.

Jesus had a vision of a man whose clothes were black. When we are born into the world, we have no clothes. We are naked and exposed. That is the only clothes we have. The Kingdom of God is represented by the clothes we wear.

We begin the Church Age with no clothes. We have no authority to speak, speak no truth. When Jesus saw this man, he spoke to him, and he understood him. In Matthew 15:21, there is a passage that says “when the time was fulfilled, he went into heaven.”

The man who is the prophet of David was naked and exposed. The clothes we are born into and all authority that comes from us is no authority. Jesus is calling us to be prophets of our lives. We have no authority to speak unless the Holy Spirit speaks. We have no authority to lead unless Jesus led. We are not the leaders. The leaders are Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

Jesus must lead the Church if we are to survive. The Church cannot survive with no leaders.

To survive, the Church must grow, continue to be led by Jesus, and be led by the Holy Spirit. We must have prophetic messages, prophecies and teaching, and prophecies of God’s kingdom. We need prophets and teachers to share their prophetic wisdom and to teach the listeners what they need to know to live their lives. We will begin the Church age with a message of peace. We will have prophetic prophecies and teaching that will include predictions of the future war and peace.
